Message	Quick and dirty trick that worked in Texas for my TT (high-flow cats) last year and my friends NA (w/ no EGR) after he failed once this year: Grab some vacuum hose and a T-Splitter, and create a vacuum leak off the passenger side of the balance tube. Make your T and subsequently the open end of the vacuum tube go down a bit so its not obvious looking at it that there's something disconnected. I parked right outside the inspection place, put this on, got it inspected, passed, took it right back off. Also making sure your engine is nice and warm, plus OEM cats, if you can find them, or high-flows, if not, will be needed too.
